1 unit on Pittsburgh -6.5 (-110) (risk 1 to return 1.91)
Result:
LOSS

Off three huge wins, the Steelers had a letdown game last week against a Jets team that had lost every game since week one last week. Pittsburgh won from the line of scrimmage (nearly 100 yards to the plus) but lost the turnover battle 4-0 and still only lost by a touchdown. Clearly with a more even turnover ratio, the Steelers roll over the Jets. But they didn't which gives us line value here as this spread would be over a touchdown had Pitt won last week. Now that Cleveland won and is 6-3, don't expect another letdown here for Pittsburgh against another bad team. The Titans won their opener at Kansas City 28-10 but have been horrible since, beating only Jacksonville. Since that opening win they have failed to top the 17 point mark in seven of their last eight games. The only win required a +2 turnover margin to beat a very bad team by 2 points. Zach Mettenberger may someday develop into a top NFL QB, but that isn't now. The Titan's offense has scored just 13.3 ppg in his three starts. The Steelers have not lost two games in a row all season and have come back off a loss to go 3-0 SU and ATS following a loss this season, winning by an average of 11 ppg and covering by an average of 9 ppg. Meanwhile, the Titans are just 2-11 ATS the past three seasons vs. winning teams and 1-9 ATS vs. teams that average 24+ points per game. Lay the points on Pittsburgh.
