Matt Cassel had no weapons to speak of last week for Minnesota, yet he carved up the Philadelphia defense for 382 yards and two TDs on their way to 48 points. The first thing to address is that Cassel is not that good. The second is that neither is the Philadelphia secondary. The third issue is that performance was at home, and the Vikings are 0-6 on the road for the season. Worse news for Minnesota is that the Eagles went for an unnoticed 475 yards against the horrible Vikings defense that has now allowed 20 points or more to every team on their schedule this season. Cincinnati is 6-0 at home on the season, and has whipped-up on the three losing teams they have faced here by a total of 71 points (by 23.7 points per game). The Bengals' offense has been an unstoppable force in their last three games at home where they have averaged 43.7 ppg, scoring 40+ in each. The Minnesota defense offers little resistance here and that's the kind of defense Andy Dalton can exploit. The Bengals are 11-3 ATS the past three seasons vs. teams that allow 61%+ opponent completion rate. The Bengals' defense is substantially better than what Cassel saw last week, so a repeat performance is pretty much out of the question. And the way the Bengals have been scoring at home lately, even that might not be enough here. The Bengals are 7-0 ATS at home in their last seven and will make it make it eight. Take Cincinnati for some good ole home cookin' here.
