Kansas City at San Francisco

The eye test says that the San Francisco 49ers don't appear to be the same defensive force as a year ago, nor do they look like a focused team. They are making costly mistakes game after game, and last week they gave up three non-offensive TDs. The mistakes are showing up in other areas as well as the Niners have been penalized close to 100 yards per game, often keeping opponent's drives alive. The Chiefs have the offense firing on all cylinders as after putting up 34 points at Miami, they come home and stomped New England for 41. Alex Smith has 30 TD passes to just 10 INTs since coming to KC, and he knows the Niners well, since he played there up until last season. Jamaal Charles is back in form and with him in the lineup, this offense has too many weapons to shut down. The Niners are now 10-4 to the OVER in their last 14 after gaining more than 150 yards on the ground in their previous game, while Kansas City is 5-1 to the OVER in their last six on the road. The OVER gets the call in this one.
