Kansas City showed its offensive punch, overcoming a big deficit to top San Diego, 33-27. QB Alex Smith threw for 363 yards and two TDs. This offense is talented and balanced with WR Jeremy Maclin (1,088 yards in 2015), Pro Bowl TE Travis Kelce, plus great running back depth in Spencer Ware and Charcandrick West with Jamaal Charles still on the mend. QB Smith was 34-of-48 last week, and the strength of the team is defense, covering five of its last six road contests. Last year KC's offense ranked sixth in rushing (127.8 yards per game) and ninth in points (25.3 points per game). Houston is favored but didn't look that sharp against the rebuilding Bears in Week 1, trailing 14-13 in the fourth before a late rally. That's not surprising as the coaching staff is working in a new QB in 25-year-old QB Brock Osweiler. Houston is 11-5 OVER the total after allowing fewer than 15 points in its previous game. The Chiefs have covered five of the last six against Houston and with this game indoors, back the visitors in a high scoring tilt. Take Kansas City and the OVER.
