Result:
LOSS

Colorado has plenty of offensive punch, third in baseball in runs scored, fourth in on-base percentage, and tops in slugging. They gave the Dodgers a run yesterday in an extra innings game, a 6-5 loss. Los Angeles has Zack Greinke going, but with the playoffs coming up, they won't use him much. He has battled an elbow problem at times in the second half of the season, as well. And in his last start, he threw a season-high 118 pitches. The Rockies are 13-3 in their last 16 when their opponent allows five runs or more in their previous game, and 5-1 after scoring five runs or more in their previous game. Rookie Christian Bergman has been a bright spot for Colorado, allowing two, two, two, and one run in four of his last five starts. He allowed two runs and six hits over 5 2/3 innings in last Sunday's 8-3 win over Arizona, making this an excellent spot for the big dog. Play Colorado.
