Chicago at Baltimore

This is the fifth straight road game for the White Sox and they looked a bit road weary last night, getting bombed by Baltimore, 10-2. The Chicago offense has been below average at #19 in runs scored, #23 in on base percentage and slugging. White Sox closer David Robertson was placed on the bereavement list and is not available tonight. Starter Carlos Rodon (1-2, 4.05 ERA) has allowed a lot of base runners, 18 hits and 10 walks in 20 innings. That was a problem for the 23-year-old last season, too, walking 71 in 139 innings with 130 hits allowed. The White Sox are 16-39 on the road against a team with a home winning percentage of greater than .600. While Chicago has trouble at the plate, the Orioles are terrific, #10 in runs scored, seventh in on base percentage and fourth in slugging. Orioles DH Mark Trumbo has hit safely in 18 of 21 games, while RF Joey Rickard is batting .472 (17-for-36) at home. Orioles' righty Mike Wright throws best at home and earned the victory against Chicago in his third career start last year with five innings in a 6-3 victory. Baltimore is on an 18-5 run at home and has beaten the White Sox 8 of the last 11 meetings. Play Baltimore on the runline.
