Result:
WIN

The Atlanta Falcons completely fell apart last season. They opened the season at 6-1, but from that point on they went 2-7 and did not make the playoffs. This year they opened against this same Tampa Bay team and suffered a loss at home, but they have regrouped. They are now coming off a big come-from-behind win against Green Bay. They lead the NFC South, and a lot of that has to do with Julio Jones and Matt Ryan. Ryan has 19 TD passes to just four INTs and through half a season has thrown for over 2,600 yards. Jones has averaged 20 yards per catch, but Ryan has thrown TD passes to 10 different receivers already. Tampa Bay looks to be improved overlast season, but since winning on the road in Atlanta in the opener, they are just 2-4. The last one may have hurt most as they fell in overtime at home to the Oakland Raiders. That leaves the Bucs in a most difficult spot as a team coming off an overtime game that has to come back on short rest for a Thursday game are just 2-15 SU as long as they are not a favorite of -3 or more, which applies here. Sure, the Falcons defense is suspect. But the Bucs are just 1-8 straight=up the past two and a half seasons when bad defensies (teams like Atlanta that allow 375+ yards per game). They are also a horrendous 3-16 straight-up at home over that span. Play Atlanta on the moneyline.
