Atlanta at Boston

Boston was blown out on the road 89-72 in Game 2 of this series and then went home and won two straight and now the Celtics have to bounce back from a 27-point loss tonight at TD Garden. Isaiah Thomas is probable for this game with a left ankle sprain after he was held to seven points on 3-of-12 shooting in Game 5. Boston shot just 37.7 percent and Atlanta was only 43.8 percent from the field but the Hawks made 14 three-pointers compared to seven for Boston. Mike Scott led the Hawks with 17 points off the bench. Atlanta is 1-4 ATS its last five games in Boston and 0-6 ATS their last six road games overall. Boston has covered the number in four of its last five home games. Look for Boston to bounce back once again from an embarrassing loss and get the win on Thursday night. So far in this series, the Hawks have scored three points less per game than they did in the regular season while allowing 4.7 points less per game. Boston has dropped 11 points off their offensive average while shaving 2.6 points per game off their defensive average. In all that's an average of 7.7 fewer points per game for the Hawks and 13.6 less for the Celtics in the playoffs compared to the regular season. As the importance of these games has increased, so has the defensive efforts.
