Appalachian State at NC Charlotte

The Charlotte 49ers won their opener vs. Elon by 13 points, and that has turned out to be their best effort of the season. This team has lost to Davidson, and needed overtime to get past Charleston and NC Ashville, and three of their five wins have required overtime to slip by and one other win has been by a scant 2 points. Appalachian State may be just 3-4, but they have played against a pair of big teams as a huge dog and came away from them at 2-0 ATS thus far on the season, and also own a win against Virginia Tech on the season. This line is way too high, and Appalachian State remains under the radar. Charlotte has yet to prove they can pull away from anyone, and I just don't see them doing so here either against a team that has proven it can hang around. Go with Appalachian State.
