NBA Matchup: Heat @ Bulls

Miami Heat at Chicago Bulls Thurs. Feb. 24, 2011 8 p.m. EST

There are a lot of much improved teams in the NBA this season, but the two at the top of the list are without a doubt the Miami Heat and the Chicago Bulls. With the addition of superstar free agents LeBron James and Chris Bosh alongside the re-signed Dwyane Wade, the Miami Heat became a superpower in the Eastern Conference.

The Chicago Bulls on the other hand only made one big move to sign forward Carlos Boozer, but it was enough to propel this team to first place in the Central and a high seed in the Eastern Conference. Along with finally getting some solid team chemistry in the Windy City, the Bulls are a serious force to be reckoned with and favored to come out on top in NBA picks on a nightly basis.

On Thursday night, these two vastly improved basketball teams will go head-to-head in what could quite possibly be a preview of a seven-game series in the playoffs. Even though this game will be played in Chicago, the Heat have been favored to come out on top with a -1 point spread.
